Goodbye Winter Months - Hello Sunshine...

Well I have to admit I was having a dry spell finding trolls for awhile there. Those cold winter months mean no yard sales and no outside vendors at the flea markets. But behold the sun is out and Spring is in the air and my troll finding luck continues...

Today I am showing the trolls found last weekend and today at the yard sales and a local flea market.

Stay tuned for 4 vintage trolls (including my first two-headed troll). They are fixer-uppers and I have to add new hair, eyes, and clothes but when I'm done you'll get to see before and after pictures.

The Ganz Troll that is still in it's box is my favorite of all the trolls found. My husband found it at the flea market. I
♥ my husband so much! Isn't it a cutie?

I even found a rug made out of troll hair. Pretty cool, huh?

Norfin Trolls Tray

This is a Norfin Trolls tray from the 90s, I think. When I saw it at a local flea market I just had to have it. But the lady said it wasn't for sale. She said she uses it to display her trolls for sale. So I went online and found this one on eBay.

I've been thinking of starting a separate blog for my Harry Potter collection. I have just about everything Harry Potter you can think of - toys, dolls, stands, books, dvds...the list goes on and on. So, I'm curious if any of you would be interested in a blog like that? Let me know in the comments section. Thanks.

Bill the Computer Troll

I'm back! I know it's been awhile. Today I'm showing you all a variety of trolls I've had for awhile.

This one is so cool. It's Bill the Computer Troll {Another Dam Bill}. I love this troll mostly because I'm in the IT field and it's designed to sit on top of your PC. I also love this troll because it has a picture of Thomas Dam on the back of the box along with a write up. I've added some extra pictures of the back of the box. This troll is truly a special creation - without Thomas Dam there would be no trolls and if by chance there were, it wouldn't be the same.

The Original Good Luck Trolls Tin Tea Set

I wanted this one for the longest time and finally got it! Everyone kept pricing it at around $25, which is just too much. But, I finally got it for only $13. Sometimes patience pays off. It's so colorful. It has 15 pieces all lavishly decorated in Dam Trolls and flowers. Made by Schylling. They are the makers of the finest children's classic toys. I see why!

These Came In The Mail Today: 1985 Dam Jogger Troll, Troll Stocking & Witch Troll

All these were in my mailbox. What a fun mail day! When I bought the Dam Jogger troll I thought he was a 1977. He looks like one. But, to my surprise, under his chin it says "Made in Denmark Dam 1985". The Stocking is very cute. I have 4 more Troll Christmas stockings (all different) to show you all soon. And, finally...the witch troll is a cutie as well.

Pretty Troll Princess

She sure is pretty huh? She's a Dam {Original Good Luck Troll} from 2005.

Dam Bank - Fixer Upper

This Dam bank came to me headless - well, the head was completely unattached from the body. I've attached it back. Her overalls are broken and she still needs some work done to her. And yet, with so much wrong I can find so much beauty in her. Look at her glass eyes - they look like they are gazing into the distance.

Dam Beauty - Troll Bank

This Dam bank is beautiful. I love the blue colors and her blushing cheeks.

My Newest 1977 Troll Clown

Here's my newest 1977 Norfin troll clown doll. At the rate I'm going I may eventually have all the clowns. I have another clown on the way. When it gets here, I'm share it with you all. It's a little different than my other clowns, but I don't want to spoil all the details now...

Those Old Dam Things

I was browsing around the internet yesterday and stumbled upon a great troll blog about Dam trolls. You all should definitely check it out. Here's the link:

http://olddamtrolls.blogspot.com/

Speaking of Dam Trolls. I've decided to share one of my books with everyone. It is entitled, "It's a Dam, Dam World".

I will literally share the pages within this witty, humorous book written in the 1960s so stay tuned.

Spa Troll Gal

This is a well manicured troll doll. She came to me complete with a faux-fur rug, a brush, a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner, and even her pet kitty. She is wearing an acrylic face masque and faux-fur attire. I love her pointy ears. She is unmarked but I believe she is a Dam troll from the 1960s. I've never seen one like her. I seek the rarest and most unique trolls and it is a true passion of mine. Troll collecting is so much fun!

Smaller 1977 Dam Girl

This 1977 Dam Girl is much smaller than the other ones. She has on her original felt clothing.

1977 Christmas & Monk Trolls

These are two very unique trolls. They are not a set but look nice displayed side-by-side due to their skyward expression.

One is a Christmas Troll made by Norfin in 1977. I am very fond of Christmas time and seeing this troll when I enter my room always puts me in a happy mood. He may be an elf or a Merrymaker. What do you think?

The other is a Monk Troll made by Norfin in 1977. I love that he is balding - making him look so different than my other trolls. His shoes are painted on.

Wizard Troll

This is a 1977 Wizard Troll made by Norfin. He is definitely one of the prize pieces of my collection - in my opinion.
