The Latest Additions to My Troll Doll Collection

Sorry it's been such a long time since my last posting. My camera broke and I had to get a new one. The good news is I've been buying as many trolls as I could find since my last update and have a lot to share today. Okay, so here goes...

These are all from a box I found at a yard sale for only $3. They are mostly a mix of Russ & Ace Novelty troll dolls.

These are Shoulder Buddies. You've probably seen these at Hallmark and now at Walmart. I got these from Hallmark at their after Christmas sale and only paid 75 cents each!

I got these troll jewelry sets from eBay. They were running a promotion where you get $5 in free eBay bucks. It even applied toward shipping so these were completely free.

This is a Wuv Luv. I found out the name thanks to one of my readers {thanks again}. The one I found previously was missing its accessories and baby but this one is complete. It's made by Trendmasters - a company who also used to make troll dolls. The Wuv Luv talks and you can feed it the flowers and the baby is in its pouch and hatches from it's egg. It says, "mama". Isn't it adorable? This only cost me $2 at a yard sale! I love it!

I picked this cutie up for 25 cent at a yard sale. It reminds me of a kewpie. It was made by Dreamland Creations in 1956. It also squeaks when you squeeze it. If anyone else knows anything else about it I'd love to know.

I got this Dam Bank for only 25 cent at a yard sale! It's so vintage so the price was amazing!

Well that wraps up my finds for now. I'm pretty happy with these finds considering they all only cost me about $8! It's always great to find deals when you are a collector - especially in the economy we live in now. Anyway, yard sales are back in season and can't wait to share my next finds with everyone!

I feel in love with this troll when I saw it. It's got the sweetest smile and it's own plush teddy bear and PJ's.

Well this one is certainly cute! It looks like it wants to give you a great big hug. It's blue eyes are pretty too.

Here's a funny troll I found at a local thrift shop. His eyes light up. Definitely from the 90s.

I found this Russ troll today at a yard sale. It's yard sale season and I hope to find many more trolls over the upcoming months.

Another OOglies

I found another OOglies at the thrift shop. He's a cowboy. These look to me like robotic trolls. He's a nice addition to my other one. Aren't they cute together? These were made in 1999.

Trendmasters

If you've been following my blog you know that I love ALL things troll...trolls of all brands and type, animal trolls, troll-like toys, etc.

I found this at a thrift shop the other day and it's made by Trendmasters which is a maker of trolls. I've actually posted some of them, the colorful talking trolls.

If anyone knows what this is, I'd love to know. It was made in 1999. Isn't it cute?

Troll Hunter Movie Due Out This Year

There's a new movie called,Troll Hunter, due out near the end of 2011. It is Norwegian and it's original title is called, Trolljegeren.

I have posted it's official trailer near the bottom of this page if you are interested. It's in the action, adventure, drama, and horror genres.

Here's a summary:

A group of students investigate a series of mysterious bear killings, but learns that there are much more dangerous things going on. They start to follow a mysterious hunter, learning that he is actually a troll hunter.

Troll Board Games from the 90's

A user recently commented about a troll board game from the 90's era and it dawned on me that I haven't showed you all my troll games. These are two board games from the 90's - TROLLS: THE MAGIC WISH GAME and Treasures Trolls: Search for the Wishstones Game.

I had a MAGIC WISH game as a child and recall playing it for hours on end...

Newest Troll Additions

Hey everyone, hope everything is going well your way. I wanted to share my newest finds with you all. I found these 4 trolls today at a new local thrift shop that sells all things "pop culture". The first two are made in Japan and are troll animals. The lion (I believe) is pretty rare. The other two are Russ and I thought they were cute in their little outfits.

Poppies - A Troll Friend

These are called Poppies. I had one as a kid that looked exactly like this one. I found this at a new thrift shop that opened in my town. Tell me this doesn't look like a troll friend...it has troll hair! He can sit in his pouch. I think he's too cute!
